Champions League 2017-18 : Celtic beats Anderlecht 3-0

ANDERLECHT, Sep. 27, 2017 (AMP) — Champions League 2017-18 : Celtic defeated Anderlecht by a score of 3-0 (halftime: 1-0), in a Champions League group stage game on Wednesday night at the Constant Vanden Stock Stadium in Anderlecht.

Celtic dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Griffiths Leigh in the 38th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, the Bhoys further widened their lead in the second period by scoring twice (Roberts '50 and Sinclair '90).

The result put Celtic third in Group B with 3 points. Anderlecht is bottom with no points. In their next game, Celtic will meet second-placed Bayern Munich at the Constant Vanden Stock Stadium on October 18, while Anderlecht will face PSG.
