MUNICH, Oct. 18, 2017 (AMP) — Champions League 2017-18 : Bayern Munich defeated Celtic by a score of 3-0 (halftime: 2-0), in a Champions League group stage game on Wednesday night at the Allianz Arena in Munich.

Bayern Munich dominated the first half thanks to goals from Müller ('17) and Kimmich ('29). Leading 2-0 at the break, the Bavarians further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Hummels in the 51st minute.

The result put Bayern Munich second in Group B with 6 points. Celtic is third with 3 points. In their next game, Bayern Munich will meet third-placed Celtic at the Allianz Arena on October 31, while Celtic will face Bayern Munich.
