Champions League 2017-18 : PSG beats Celtic 7-1
PARIS, Nov. 22, 2017 (AMP) — Champions League 2017-18 : PSG defeated Celtic by a big score of 7-1 (halftime: 4-1), in a Champions League group stage game on Wednesday night at the Parc des Princes in Paris.
Neymar and Edinson Cavani scored dual goals
Celtic opened the score in the score in the 1st minute thanks to Moussa Dembélé, before PSG regained the advantage with Neymar ('9, '22), Cavani ('28) and Mbappe Kylian ('35). Leading 4-1 at the break, PSG players further widened their lead in the second period by scoring three times (Verratti '75, Cavani '79 and Alves '80).
The result put PSG top of Group B with 15 points. Celtic is third with 3 points. In their last game, PSG will meet second-placed Bayern Munich at the Parc des Princes on December 5, while Celtic will face Anderlecht.
