Champions League 2017-18 : Atletico and Qarabag play out 1-1 draw

MADRID, Oct. 31, 2017 (AMP) — Champions League 2017-18 : Atletico Madrid tied 1-1 with Qarabag (halftime: 0-1), in a Champions League group stage game on Tuesday night at the Wanda Metropolitano in Madrid.

Qarabag players started off well by taking the lead thanks to Míchel in the 40th minute. However, even though they were leading 1-0 at half time, they could not prevent a comeback by Atletico Madrid with a saving goal from Partey in the 56th minute.

The result put Atletico third in Group C with 3 points. Qarabag is bottom with 2 points. In their next game, Atletico Madrid will meet group leaders AS Roma at the Wanda Metropolitano on November 22, while Qarabag will face Chelsea.
