Champions League 2017-18 : Atletico beats Roma 2-0

MADRID, Nov. 22, 2017 (AMP) — Champions League 2017-18 : Atletico Madrid defeated AS Roma by a score of 2-0 (halftime: 0-0), in a Champions League group stage game on Wednesday night at the Wanda Metropolitano in Madrid.

Both teams held off against each other during the first 45 minutes of the game. 0-0 at half time. Everything was settled in the second period with goals by Griezmann ('69) and Gameiro ('85).

The result put Roma second in Group C with 8 points. Atletico is third with 6 points. In their last game, AS Roma will meet Qarabag at the Wanda Metropolitano on December 5, while Atletico Madrid will face Chelsea.
