Champions League 2017-18 : Juve beats Olympiacos 2-0

TURIN, Sep. 27, 2017 (AMP) — Champions League 2017-18 : Juventus defeated Olympiacos by a score of 2-0 (halftime: 0-0), in a Champions League group stage game on Wednesday night at the Juventus Stadium in Turin.

Both teams held off against each other during the first 45 minutes of the game. 0-0 at half time. Everything was settled in the second period with goals by Higuaín ('69) and Mandžukić ('80).

The result put Juve third in Group D with 3 points. Olympiacos is bottom with no points. In their next game, Juventus will meet second-placed Sporting Lisbon at the Juventus Stadium on October 18, while Olympiacos will face Barcelona.
