Champions League 2017-18 : Spartak Moscow beats Sevilla 5-1

MOSCOW, Oct. 17, 2017 (AMP) — Champions League 2017-18 : Spartak Moscow defeated Sevilla by a big score of 5-1 (halftime: 1-1), in a Champions League group stage game on Tuesday night at the Spartak Stadium in Moscow.

Promes scored dual goals

Promes opened the score in the 18th minute, before seeing Sevilla catch up in the 30th minute thanks to Simon Kjær. 1-1 at half time. Narodnaya komanda eventually won the game in the second period with four more goals by Melgarejo ('58), Glushakov ('67), [Luiz Adriano ('74) and Promes ('90).

The result put Spartak Moscow second in Group E with 5 points. Sevilla is third with 4 points. In their next game, Spartak Moscow will meet third-placed Sevilla at the Spartak Stadium on November 1, while Sevilla will face Spartak Moscow.
