Champions League 2017-18 : Shakhtar defeats Feyenoord 2-1

ROTTERDAM, Oct. 17, 2017 (AMP) — Champions League 2017-18 : Shakhtar Donetsk defeated Feyenoord by a score of 2-1 (halftime: 1-1), in a Champions League group stage game on Tuesday night at the De Kuip in Rotterdam.

Bernard scored dual goals

Berghuis opened the score in the 8th minute, before seeing Shakhtar Donetsk catch up in the 24th minute thanks to Bernard. 1-1 at half time. The “Hirnyky” eventually won the game in the second period with with another goal by Bernard in the 54th minute.

The result put Shakhtar second in Group F with 6 points. Feyenoord is bottom with no points. In their next game, Shakhtar Donetsk will meet Feyenoord at the De Kuip on November 1, while Feyenoord will face Shakhtar Donetsk.
