Champions League 2017-18 : Shakhtar beats Feyenoord 3-1

KHARKIV, Nov. 1, 2017 (AMP) — Champions League 2017-18 : Shakhtar Donetsk defeated Feyenoord by a score of 3-1 (halftime: 2-1), in a Champions League group stage game on Wednesday night at the Metalist Stadium in Kharkiv.

[Marlos scored dual goals

Feyenoord opened the score in the score in the 12th minute thanks to Jørgensen, before Shakhtar Donetsk regained the advantage with Ferreyra ('14) and [Marlos ('17). Leading 2-1 at the break, the “Hirnyky” further widened their lead in the second period with another goal by [Marlos in the 68th minute.

The result put Shakhtar second in Group F with 9 points. Feyenoord is bottom with no points. In their next game, Shakhtar Donetsk will meet third-placed Napoli at the Metalist Stadium on November 21, while Feyenoord will face Manchester City.
