Champions League 2017-18 : Napoli beats Shakhtar 3-0

NAPLES, Nov. 21, 2017 (AMP) — Champions League 2017-18 : Napoli defeated Shakhtar Donetsk by a score of 3-0 (halftime: 0-0), in a Champions League group stage game on Tuesday night at the San Paolo Stadium in Naples.

Both teams held off against each other during the first 45 minutes of the game. 0-0 at half time. Everything was settled in the second period with goals by Insigne ('56), Zieliński ('81) and Mertens ('83).

The result put Shakhtar second in Group F with 9 points. Napoli is third with 6 points. In their last game, Shakhtar Donetsk will meet group leaders Manchester City at the San Paolo Stadium on December 6, while Napoli will face Feyenoord.
