Champions League 2017-18 : Shakhtar and Man City qualify for the Round of 16
KHARKIV, Dec. 6, 2017 (AMP) — Champions League 2017-18 : Shakhtar Donetsk defeated Manchester City by a score of 2-1 (halftime: 2-0), in a Champions League group stage game on Wednesday night at the Metalist Stadium in Kharkiv.
Shakhtar Donetsk dominated the first half thanks to goals from Bernard Duarte ('26) and Ismaily Dos Santos ('32). Leading 2-0 at the break, the “Hirnyky” further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by in the th minute.
