Champions League 2017-18 : Besiktas beats Porto 3-1

PORTO, Sep. 13, 2017 (AMP) — Champions League 2017-18 : Besiktas defeated Porto by a score of 3-1 (halftime: 2-1), in a Champions League group stage game on Wednesday night at the Estádio do Dragão in Porto.

Besiktas dominated the first half thanks to goals from [Talisca ('13) and Tosun ('28). Leading 2-1 at the break, the “Black Eagles” further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Babel with just 4 minutes remaining in regulation time.

The result put Besiktas top of Group G with 3 points. In their next game, Besiktas will meet second-placed RB Leipzig at the Estádio do Dragão on September 26, while Porto will face Monaco.
