Champions League 2017-18 : Besiktas draw 1-1 with Monaco

ISTANBUL, Nov. 1, 2017 (AMP) — Champions League 2017-18 : Besiktas tied 1-1 with Monaco (halftime: 0-1), in a Champions League group stage game on Wednesday night at the Vodafone Park in Istanbul.

The Monacos started off well by taking the lead thanks to Lopes in the 45th minute. However, even though they were leading 1-0 at half time, they could not prevent a comeback by Besiktas with a saving goal from Tosun on penalty in the 54th minute.

The result put Besiktas top of Group G with 10 points. Monaco is bottom with 2 points. In their next game, Besiktas will meet third-placed Porto at the Vodafone Park on November 21, while Monaco will face RB Leipzig.
