Champions League 2017-18 : Besiktas beats Leipzig 2-1 to qualify for the Round of 16

LEIPZIG, Dec. 6, 2017 (AMP) — Champions League 2017-18 : Besiktas defeated RB Leipzig by a score of 2-1 (halftime: 1-0), in a Champions League group stage game on Wednesday night at the Red Bull Arena in Leipzig.

Besiktas dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Spanish forward Álvaro Negredo in the 10th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, the “Black Eagles” further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Talisca Anderson seconds before the end of regulation.
