Champions League 2017-18 : Tottenham beats APOEL 3-0

NICOSIA, Sep. 26, 2017 (AMP) — Champions League 2017-18 : Tottenham defeated APOEL Nicosia by a score of 3-0 (halftime: 1-0), in a Champions League group stage game on Tuesday night at the GSP Stadium in Nicosia.

Harry Kane scored tripple goals

Tottenham dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by forward Harry Kane in the 39th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, the Spurs further widened their lead in the second period by scoring twice (Kane '62, '67).

The result put Tottenham top of Group H with 6 points. APOEL is bottom with no points. In their next game, Tottenham will meet group leaders Real Madrid at the GSP Stadium on October 17, while APOEL Nicosia will face Borussia Dortmund.
