Champions League 2017-18 : Dortmund and APOEL play out 1-1 draw

DORTMUND, Nov. 1, 2017 (AMP) — Champions League 2017-18 : Borussia Dortmund tied 1-1 with APOEL Nicosia (halftime: 1-0), in a Champions League group stage game on Wednesday night at the Westfalenstadion in Dortmund.

Borussia Dortmund players started off well by taking the lead thanks to French defender Raphaël Guerreiro in the 29th minute. However, even though they were leading 1-0 at half time, they could not prevent a comeback by APOEL Nicosia with a saving goal from Poté in the 51st minute.

The result put Dortmund third in Group H with 2 points. APOEL is bottom with 2 points. In their next game, Borussia Dortmund will meet group leaders Tottenham at the Westfalenstadion on November 21, while APOEL Nicosia will face Real Madrid.
