Champions League 2017-18 : Tottenham beats Real Madrid 3-1

LONDON, Nov. 1, 2017 (AMP) — Champions League 2017-18 : Tottenham defeated Real Madrid by a score of 3-1 (halftime: 1-0), in a Champions League group stage game on Wednesday night at Wembley Stadium.

Alli scored dual goals

Tottenham dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Alli in the 27th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, the Spurs further widened their lead in the second period by scoring twice (Alli '56 and Eriksen '65).

The result put Tottenham top of Group H with 10 points. Real Madrid is second with 7 points. In their next game, Tottenham will meet third-placed Borussia Dortmund at Wembley Stadium on November 21, while Real Madrid will face APOEL Nicosia.
