Champions League 2017-18 : Real Madrid defeats APOEL 6-0

NICOSIA, Nov. 21, 2017 (AMP) — Champions League 2017-18 : Real Madrid defeated APOEL Nicosia by a big score of 6-0 (halftime: 4-0), in a Champions League group stage game on Tuesday night at the GSP Stadium in Nicosia.

Karim Benzema and Cristiano Ronaldo scored dual goals

Real Madrid dominated the first half thanks to goals from Modrić ('23), Benzema ('39, '45) and Nacho Fernandez ('41). Leading 4-0 at the break, Los Blancos further widened their lead in the second period by scoring twice (Ronaldo '49, '54).

The result put Real Madrid second in Group H with 10 points. APOEL is bottom with 2 points. In their last game, Real Madrid will meet third-placed Borussia Dortmund at the GSP Stadium on December 6, while APOEL Nicosia will face Tottenham.
