Juve beats Tottenham to reach Champions League quarterfinals
LONDON, Mar. 7, 2018 (AMP) — Champions League 2017-18 : Juventus defeated Tottenham by a score of 2-1 (halftime: 0-1), in the second leg of a round of 16 game on Wednesday night at Wembley Stadium.
Tottenham had started off well by taking the lead in the 39th minute with a goal by Korean forward Son Heung-min. Trailing 1-0 at half time, La Vecchia Signora nonetheless manage to reverse the direction of the game by scoring twice in the second period (Higuaín '64 and Dybala '67).
