Guinea beats Zambia in shoot out to advance to CHAN semifinals
GISENYI, Jan. 31, 2016 (AMP) — Rwanda 2016 : Guinea reached the semifinals of the 2016 African Nations Championship after defeating Zambia 5-4 on penalties (after a 0-0 draw) on Sunday night at the Umuganda Stadium in Gisenyi.
The score was still nil-all at the end of the regulation game time and overtime. The Guineans finally emerged the victors in the penalty shootout session by winning 5-4.
