CHAN 2016 : Ivory Coast beats Guinea 2-1 to claim CHAN third place
KIGALI, Feb. 7, 2016 (AMP) — Rwanda 2016 : Ivory Coast secured the consolation of third place at the 2016 African Nations Championship with a 2-1 win against Guinea (halftime: 2-0) on Sunday afternoon at the Amahoro Stadium in Kigali.
Ivory Coast dominated the first half thanks to goals from Youla ('31 own) and Badie ('35). Leading 2-0 at the break, the Ivorians further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by in the th minute.
