JOHANNESBURG, Oct. 17, 2015 (AMP) — Rwanda 2016 (Qualifiers) : Angola defeated South Africa by a score of 2-0 (halftime: 0-0), in the first leg of a CHAN qualifier tie on Saturday afternoon at the Rand Stadium in Johannesburg.
45 minutes of play and neither the Angolans nor the South Africans have managed to pull ahead. 0-0 at half time. Everything was settled in the second period with goals by Mateus ('54) and Ary Papel ('90).
The second leg between South Africa and Angola will be played on Saturday October 24, 2015 (kick-off: 15:00) in Luanda.
