CHAN 2016 Qualifiers : Gabon beats Chad 2-0
N'DJAMéNA, Oct. 18, 2015 (AMP) — Rwanda 2016 (Qualifiers) : Gabon defeated Chad by a score of 2-0 (halftime: 1-0), in the first leg of a CHAN qualifier tie on Sunday afternoon at the Stade Omnisports Idriss Mahamat Ouya in N'Djaména.
Gabon dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Mba in the 15th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, the Gaboneses further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Mandraut with just 6 minutes remaining in regulation time.
The second leg between Chad and Gabon will be played on Saturday October 24, 2015 (kick-off: 15:30) in Libreville.
