CHAN 2016 Qualifiers : Zimbabwe held to a 1-1 draw by Lesotho but qualifies for 2016 CHAN
MASERU, Oct. 25, 2015 (AMP) — Rwanda 2016 (Qualifiers) : Lesotho tied 1-1 with Zimbabwe (halftime: 0-1), in the second leg of a qualifying game on Sunday afternoon at the Setsoto Stadium in Maseru.
The Zimbabweans started off well by taking the lead thanks to Mutuma in the 35th minute. However, even though they were leading 1-0 at half time, they could not prevent a comeback by Lesotho with a saving goal from Moyo on penalty in the 79th minute.
Zimbabwe, who won the first leg (3-1), secured their ticket to the CHAN finals. Lesotho is eliminated.Fixtures and Results : First round
