CHAN 2016 Qualifiers : Senegal beats Gambia 3-1
DAKAR, Jun. 20, 2015 (AMP) — Rwanda 2016 (Qualifiers) : Senegal defeated Gambia by a score of 3-1 (halftime: 2-1), in the first leg of a CHAN qualifier tie on Saturday afternoon at the Stade Demba-Diop in Dakar.
Niang scored dual goals
Senegal dominated the first half thanks to goals from Niang ('9) and Ba ('45). Leading 2-1 at the break, the Senegaleses further widened their lead in the second period with another goal by Niang in stoppage time.
The second leg between Senegal and Gambia will be played on Saturday July 4, 2015 (kick-off: 16:30) in Bakau.
