CHAN 2016 Qualifiers : Uganda defeats Tanzania 3-0
ZANZIBAR, Jun. 20, 2015 (AMP) — Rwanda 2016 (Qualifiers) : Uganda defeated Tanzania by a score of 3-0 (halftime: 1-0), in the first leg of a CHAN qualifier tie on Saturday night at the Amaan Stadium in Zanzibar.
Ssekisambu scored dual goals
Uganda dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Ssekisambu in the 40th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, the Ugandans further widened their lead in the second period by scoring twice (Ssekisambu '66 and Miya '90/penalty).
The second leg between Tanzania and Uganda will be played on Saturday July 4, 2015 (kick-off: 16:00) in Kampala.
