CHAN 2016 Qualifiers : Burundi defeats Djibouti 2-1
DJIBOUTI, Jun. 21, 2015 (AMP) — Rwanda 2016 (Qualifiers) : Burundi defeated Djibouti by a score of 2-1 (halftime: 0-0), in the first leg of a CHAN qualifier tie on Sunday night at the Stade national El Hadj Hassan Gouled Aptidon in Djibouti.
45 minutes of play and neither the Burundians nor the Djiboutians have managed to pull ahead. 0-0 at half time. Everything was decided in the second period with goals by Hassan ('51) and Nahimana ('65).
The second leg between Djibouti and Burundi will be played on Saturday July 4, 2015 (kick-off: 15:00) in Bujumbura.
