CHAN 2016 Qualifiers : Namibia beats Zambia 2-1
WINDHOEK, Jun. 21, 2015 (AMP) — Rwanda 2016 (Qualifiers) : Namibia defeated Zambia by a score of 2-1 (halftime: 0-1), in the first leg of a CHAN qualifier tie on Sunday afternoon at the Independence Stadium in Windhoek.
Zambia had started off well by taking the lead in the 15th minute with a goal by Kalengo. Trailing 1-0 at half time, the Namibians nonetheless manage to reverse the direction of the game by scoring twice in the second period (Stephanus '52 and Nenkavu '63).
The second leg between Namibia and Zambia will be played on Saturday July 4, 2015 (kick-off: 15:00) in Lusaka.
