CHAN 2016 Qualifiers : Zimbabwe beats Comoros 2-0
HARARE, Jun. 21, 2015 (AMP) — Rwanda 2016 (Qualifiers) : Zimbabwe defeated Comoros by a score of 2-0 (halftime: 1-0), in the first leg of a CHAN qualifier tie on Sunday afternoon at the Rufaro Stadium in Harare.
Zimbabwe dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Rusike in the 10th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, the Zimbabweans further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Mudehwe seconds before the end of regulation.
The second leg between Zimbabwe and Comoros will be played on Saturday July 4, 2015 (kick-off: 15:00) in Moroni.
