CHAN 2016 Qualifiers : Guinea beats Liberia 3-1

BAMAKO, Jun. 22, 2015 (AMP) — Rwanda 2016 (Qualifiers) : Guinea defeated Liberia by a score of 3-1 (halftime: 2-0), in the first leg of a CHAN qualifier tie on Monday afternoon at the Stade Modibo Keïta in Bamako.

S. Camara scored dual goals

Guinea dominated the first half thanks to goals from S. Camara ('8, '38). Leading 2-0 at the break, the Guineans further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Sankhon in the 62nd minute.

The second leg between Guinea and Liberia will be played on Sunday July 5, 2015 (kick-off: 16:00) in Monrovia.
