CHAN 2016 Qualifiers : Mali beats Guinea-Bissau 3-1 to qualify for next round
BAMAKO, Jul. 5, 2015 (AMP) — Rwanda 2016 (Qualifiers) : Mali defeated Guinea-Bissau by a score of 3-1 (halftime: 1-1), in the second leg of a qualifying game on Sunday afternoon at the Stade Modibo Keïta in Bamako.
B. Diarra opened the score in the 0th minute, before seeing Guinea-Bissau catch up in the 0th minute thanks to Fati. 1-1 at half time. The Malians eventually won the game in the second period with two more goals by Koné ('76) and Sissoko ('85).
Mali, who tied 1-1 in the first leg, advance to the next round of the ongoing African Nations Championship. Guinea-Bissau is eliminated.Fixtures and Results : Preliminary round
