Morocco beats Namibia to advance to CHAN semifinals
CASABLANCA, Jan. 27, 2018 (AMP) — Kenya 2018 : Morocco reached the semifinals of the 2018 African Nations Championship with a 2-0 win against Namibia (halftime: 1-0) on Saturday afternoon at the Mohammed V Stadium in Casablanca.
Morocco dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by El Kaabi in the 36th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, the Moroccans further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Saidi in the 54th minute.
