CHAN 2018 Qualifiers : Uganda beats South Sudan 5-1 to qualify for next round
KAMPALA, Jul. 22, 2017 (AMP) — Kenya 2018 (Qualifiers) : Uganda defeated South Sudan by a big score of 5-1 (halftime: 2-0), in a CHAN qualifying game (Central Zone) on Saturday afternoon at the Phillip Omondi Stadium in Kampala.
Mucureezi served up another goal feast
Uganda dominated the first half thanks to goals from Nsibambi ('33) and Mucureezi ('43). Leading 2-0 at the break, the Ugandans further widened their lead in the second period by scoring three times (Mucureezi '49, '53, '57).
