CHAN 2018 Qualifiers : Senegal beats Guinea 3-1
DAKAR, Aug. 15, 2017 (AMP) — Kenya 2018 (Qualifiers) : Senegal defeated Guinea by a score of 3-1 (halftime: 1-0), in a qualifying game for the 2018 African Nations Championship (West Zone) on Tuesday afternoon at the Al Djigo Stadium in Dakar.
A. D. N'Diaye scored dual goals
Senegal dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by A. D. N'Diaye in the 14th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, the Senegaleses further widened their lead in the second period by scoring twice (A. D. N'Diaye '70 and Mbodj '83).
The result put the Senegalese top of the group with 7 points. Guinea is third with 6 points. In their last game, Senegal will meet third-placed Guinea at the Al Djigo Stadium on August 23, while Guinea will face Senegal.
