PSG beats Monaco to advance to Coupe de France semifinals

PARIS, Mar. 4, 2015 (AMP) — Coupe de France 2014-15 : PSG reached the semifinals of the Coupe de France with a 2-0 win against Monaco (halftime: 1-0) on Wednesday night at the Parc des Princes in Paris.

PSG dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Brazilian defender David Luiz in the 3rd minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, PSG players further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Cavani in the 52nd minute.
