Marseille beats Trélissac to reach Coupe de France quarterfinals

BORDEAUX, Feb. 11, 2016 (AMP) — Coupe de France 2015-16 : Marseille qualified to the quarter-finals of the Coupe de France with a 2-0 win against Trélissac (halftime: 1-0) on Thursday night at the Stade Chaban Delmas in Bordeaux.

Marseille dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Alessandrini Romain in the 33rd minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, Marseille players further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Fletcher Steven with just 4 minutes remaining in regulation time.
