NICE, Oct. 29, 2014 (AMP) — Coupe de la Ligue 2014-15 : Metz after defeating Nice 3-2 on penalties (after a 3-3 draw) on Wednesday night at the Allianz Riviera in Nice.

The score was still 3-3 at the end of the regulation game time and overtime, after goals from José Luis Palomino ('5), Yeni Ngbakoto ('13) and Thibaut Vion ('17) for Metz and Neal Maupay ('20), Alexy Bosetti ('37) and Darío Cvitanich ('88 on penalty) for Nice. Metz finally emerged the victors in the penalty shootout session by winning 3-2.
