PSG beats Ajaccio to reach Coupe de la Ligue quarterfinals

AJACCIO, Dec. 17, 2014 (AMP) — Coupe de la Ligue 2014-15 : PSG qualified to the quarter-finals of the Coupe de la Ligue with a 3-1 win against Ajaccio (halftime: 0-1) on Wednesday night at the Stade François Coty in Ajaccio.

Ajaccio had started off well by taking the lead in the 27th minute with a goal by midfielder Johan Cavalli on penalty. Trailing 1-0 at half time, PSG players nonetheless manage to reverse the direction of the game by scoring three times in the second period (Cavani '54, Aurier '80 and Bahebeck '84).
