Saint-Etienne beats Lorient to reach Coupe de la Ligue quarterfinals

LORIENT, Dec. 17, 2014 (AMP) — Coupe de la Ligue 2014-15 : Saint-Etienne qualified to the quarter-finals of the Coupe de la Ligue with a 1-0 win against Lorient (halftime: 0-0) on Wednesday night at the Stade du Moustoir in Lorient.

45 minutes of play and neither Saint-Etienne nor Lorient have managed to pull ahead. 0-0 at half time. Everything was decided in the second period with a saving goal by Saint-Etienne midfielder Romain Hamouma in the 48th minute.
