Lille beats Nantes to advance to Coupe de la Ligue semifinals

LILLE, Jan. 14, 2015 (AMP) — Coupe de la Ligue 2014-15 : Lille reached the semifinals of the Coupe de la Ligue with a 2-0 win against Nantes (halftime: 1-0) on Wednesday night at the Pierre Mauroy Stadium in Lille.

Lille dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by defender Sébastien Corchia in the 9th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, Lille players further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Kjær in the 69th minute.
