Coupe de la Ligue 2014-15 : Auxerre beats Orleans in shoot out to qualify for next round

ORLEANS, Aug. 12, 2014 (AMP) — Coupe de la Ligue 2014-15 : Auxerre defeated Orleans on penalties 4-3, after the match ended 1-1 in regulation time, in the Coupe de la Ligue first round on Tuesday night at the Stade de la Source in Orleans.

The score was still 1-1 at the end of the regulation game time and overtime, after goals from Tafsir Chérif ('44) for Auxerre and Robert Maah ('45) for Orleans. AJA finally emerged the victors in the penalty shootout session by winning 4-3.
