VALENCIENNES, Aug. 12, 2014 (AMP) — Coupe de la Ligue 2014-15 : Troyes defeated Valenciennes by a score of 3-1 (halftime: 1-0), in the Coupe de la Ligue first round on Tuesday night at the Stade du Hainaut in Valenciennes.
Troyes dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by forward Ghislain Gimbert in the 23rd minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, ESTAC further widened their lead in the second period by scoring twice (Ayasse '58 and Darbion '74).
