Toulouse beats Rennes to reach Coupe de la Ligue quarterfinals

RENNES, Dec. 15, 2015 (AMP) — Coupe de la Ligue 2015-16 : Toulouse qualified to the quarter-finals of the Coupe de la Ligue with a 3-1 win against Rennes (halftime: 2-0) on Tuesday night at Roazhon Park in Rennes.

Toulouse dominated the first half thanks to goals from Ben-Yedder ('13, '32). Leading 2-0 at the break, Toulouse players further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Blin with just 6 minutes remaining in regulation time.
