Bordeaux beats Monaco to reach Coupe de la Ligue quarterfinals

BORDEAUX, Dec. 16, 2015 (AMP) — Coupe de la Ligue 2015-16 : Bordeaux qualified to the quarter-finals of the Coupe de la Ligue with a 3-0 win against Monaco (halftime: 1-0) on Wednesday afternoon at the Matmut Atlantique in Bordeaux.

Bordeaux dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Ounas in the 16th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, Bordeaux players further widened their lead in the second period by scoring twice (Rolán '57 and Saivet '89).
