Feb. 10, 1999 (AMP) — Belgium Netherland 2000 (Qualifiers) : Cyprus defeated San Marino by a big score of 4-0 (halftime: 3-0), in a qualifying game for the 2000 UEFA European Championship on Wednesday.
The result put the Cypriot top of Group 6 with 9 points. San Marino is bottom with no points. In their next game, Cyprus will meet third-placed Israel on March 28, while San Marino will face Spain.
