Aug. 19, 1998 (AMP) — Belgium Netherland 2000 (Qualifiers) : Bosnia and Herzegovina defeated the Faroe islands by a score of 1-0 (halftime: 0-0), in a qualifying game for the 2000 UEFA European Championship on Wednesday.
The result put the Bosnians second in Group 9 with 3 points. The Faroe islands is bottom with no points. In their next game, Bosnia and Herzegovina will meet group leaders Estonia on September 5, while the Faroe islands will face Czech republic.
