Sep. 4, 1999 (AMP) — Belgium Netherland 2000 (Qualifiers) : Scotland defeated Bosnia and Herzegovina by a score of 2-1 (halftime: 2-1), in a qualifying game for the 2000 UEFA European Championship on Saturday.

The result put the Scot second in Group 9 with 11 points. Bosnia and Herzegovina is fourth with 8 points. In their next game, Scotland will meet third-placed Estonia on September 8, while Bosnia and Herzegovina will face Czech republic.
