LUXEMBOURG, Oct. 16, 2002 (AMP) — Portugal 2004 (Qualifiers) : Romania defeated Luxembourg by a big score of 7-0 (halftime: 4-0), in a qualifying game for the 2004 UEFA European Championship on Wednesday.
The result put the Romanians second in Group 2 with 6 points. Luxembourg is bottom with no points. In their next game, Romania will meet third-placed Denmark on March 29, while Luxembourg will face Bosnia and Herzegovina.
