TEPLICE, Oct. 16, 2002 (AMP) — Portugal 2004 (Qualifiers) : Czech republic defeated Belarus by a score of 2-0 (halftime: 2-0), in a qualifying game for the 2004 UEFA European Championship on Wednesday.
The result put the Czech second in Group 3 with 6 points. Belarus is bottom with no points. In their next game, Czech republic will meet group leaders the Netherlands on March 29, while Belarus will face Moldova.
