MINSK, Mar. 29, 2003 (AMP) — Portugal 2004 (Qualifiers) : Belarus defeated Moldova by a score of 2-1 (halftime: 1-1), in a qualifying game for the 2004 UEFA European Championship on Saturday.
The result put the Belarusians fourth in Group 3 with 3 points. Moldova is bottom with no points. In their next game, Belarus will meet group leaders the Netherlands on June 8, while Moldova will face the Netherlands.
